An Island of Time

Sometimes, in all the

Rush and

Hurry of our lives

We need so much

Just now and then

To find an island.

This is lovely – and the struggle for me is allowing islands into my sometimes landlocked life! I know they’re there, but won’t always take time to seek, then find, them. Thank you for providing my thought for today! x

That is a stunning Photo. Makes me want to jump in my car and drive there rite now!. My husband got me a new camera for Christmas and just the act of stopping and taking pictures has been creating little islands of moments in my day where I see things differently. Take notice of the world around me. It’s nice.

@ Jan, I found the poem just at the moment I was needing an emotional island… couldn’t resist sharing it :-)

@ Wendi – I’d never thought of it like that but you’re absolutely right – taking photos is a way of creating little islands of moments where we see the world with different eyes. Thanks for helping me make the connection!
